Soco falls is located off highway 19 on the south end of Maggie Valley. Took this photo on a cloudy day with drizzle. Taken with a SONY A77, iso 50, f/20, 4s exposure. The forest canopy was dense enough for me to take the photo without a ND filter.

Welcome to my photo art collection. I have always been interested in photography as a hobby since I was in high school but haven’t turned on the passion until now due to demands of higher priorities in my life. Since retirement, my photography has moved up in priority allowing me to devote more time to learning new techniques through study, experimentation and feedback from viewers. I was born in Worcester MA, raised in a small town called Auburn, just outside of Worcester. Educated in NY and Retired from IBM after 43 yrs of service.
